From LSU to KRBE

Here at Avant, the successes of our graduates are just as important to us as they are to them. As our alumni start to make moves and gain traction, we love to congratulate and acknowledge their hard work, as we would not be here without them. Today, we would like to recognize one of our most recent graduates, Faith Earls, and help you get to know her a little better!

Throughout her year at Avant, Faith applied her knowledge and skills to her work, which led her to earning a spot as an intern with one of Houston's largest radio stations, 104.1 KRBE. While interning for them she was able to do commercial edits for radio, be a part of events in Houston, and meet special guests brought into the studio. For example, actor Luis Guzman (known for his roles in The Do-Over, We're the Millers and more) visited KRBE to speak about humanitarian subjects, and Faith had the opportunity to be photographed with him, and got to stick around to listen to him speak!

Here is one of Faith's commercials she made at 104.1!

Post graduation, Faith says she sees herself woking in the live sound setting. From her internship and her time at Avant, Faith has learned enough to be able to succeed in whatever she does. Fortunately, she has chosen to share her knowledge with current students and has accepted a job as a lab technician at Avant.
